You can choose to live just about anywhere in the world - when you understand the process. And it's a multi-step process.  And it start with YOU.

First you have to figure out what you want your future life to be like. Then you can search for a location that meets your lifestyle requirements. You need to do extensive research, and visit multiple different high-potential locations for a week on a "vacation with a purpose" to see how they match up to your criteria. Once you think you've found your dream location, you need to do a Beta Test of 1 month or more to try it on for size. You will have to learn about cost of living, and create your detailed budget for living long term in paradise, as well as your Beta Test and relocation budget. At that point you have to make a go-no go decision, and start to take action back home. You will have to deal with immigration and visas, banking and investments, insurance, mail delivery, phone service, tech support, pets, kids, and more. You will have to figure out what you will do with your home, and then all your "stuff" - perhaps the hardest part! What about your car - sell it or bring it with you? And then you you need to plan your trip, and come prepared to find a new home, hook up utilities, learn local shopping and services, and figure out how to fit into the community to form a network of local friends and resources.
